A Brief overview
The Lebanese Rehabilitation and Development Institution (LRDI Foundation) was established, in 2006, as a civil society institution in Lebanon, according to the flag and news No. 269 (attached).It has implemented many projects, forums, support programs, provision of educational grants, and skills development for workers in governmental and municipal departments, charitable institutions, civil society, and university students.
Our philosophy
Provide the services that will ensure the success of the project or program on time, within the set budget and required specifications.
Objectives and means of action
Preparing and implementing development projects and studies, developing and rehabilitating individual and institutional capabilities of public and private sector bodies and civil society, providing training courses, supporting and financing individual initiatives and projects in Lebanon and the Arab world, and publishing and issuing publications. To achieve these goals, the Association adopts the following means of action: 1. Encouraging administrative, economic, social, cultural, health and educational thought (...) and contributing to the development and dissemination of this knowledge. 2. Establishing, investing, supervising, and managing centers and institutions that contribute to the achievement of the goals of the association, especially, for example, developmental ones that aim to support and finance individual initiatives and projects (Alkarad Alhassan القرض الحسن), educational, cultural, social, health, and sports centers, archives, research, information, and libraries. (...). 3. Allocating grants for study and research in areas that achieve the Foundation's objectives. 4. Encouraging and conducting theoretical and applied research. 5. All training activities and granting certificates therein. 6. Providing organizational and administrative advice to the public and private sectors and civil society organizations in Lebanon and the Arab world. 7. Paying attention to local and municipal affairs and developing and developing them. 8. Publish scientific literature, papers and bulletins related to the Foundation's activities. 9. Practicing written, audio and visual documentation. 10. Carrying out all initiatives, procedures and activities that help restore Lebanon and the Arab world to their pioneering civilized role in all fields. 11. Organizing and encouraging scientific exchange between members of the association and related associations and institutions to serve scientific research. 12. Cooperating with Arab and international institutions and organizations specialized in rehabilitation, and development. 13. The Foundation issues a monthly bulletin and publications that help spread awareness in the community with the aim of developing it in all fields. 14. Organizing conferences, lectures, seminars, exhibitions and festivals of all kinds and topics. 15. Encouraging excellence, through the selection of distinguished and creative personalities in all sectors in Lebanon and the Arab world and supporting them in all ways in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
Experience - implemented projects and programs
First - University Scholarships: 1. Offering scholarships to university students. 2. "SANAD Fund" for loans, university grants, and support for small and medium enterprises, 2022. Second - Providing Training Grants: Providing training grants to government institutions, municipalities, universities, and associations. Third - Conferences: 1. The establishment of the first municipal forum between municipalities from the Lebanese Republic and the State of Kuwait on "the role of municipalities in the field of food safety and security." It was held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on April 7-8, 2018. In partnership with the Beirut Municipality and the Kuwait Municipality, and in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute (Kuwait). 2. Participation in many local and Arab forums. Fourth - Launching the Municipal Decision Support Center (MDSC): Launching the Municipal Decision Support Center (MDSC) in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute in the State of Kuwait.
